Nurse Manager - Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab & Cardiovascular Procedural Services

Full-Time Day Shift

Lead a growing cardiovascular procedural services team overseeing 4 Cardiac Cath Labs, 3 Electrophysiology Labs, and CV Lab operations. This role provides clinical, operational, and strategic leadership for Registered Nurses, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists/Technologists, and Patient Transport staff.

Job Summary The Nursing Cath Lab Manager promotes a helpful work environment. Patients, families, and staff receive compassionate care. They plan, implement, and assess policies. Manage budgets and resources, oversee improvement, and organize educational programs. They also participate in governance councils to meet priorities. This role involves providing nursing care.

Essential Functions of the Role

• Formulate and convey a clear plan for nursing procedures within your assigned area.

• Involve supervisors and team members in establishing and achieving departmental priorities.

• Establish a positive work atmosphere through shared management structures and processes that help research-based nursing protocol.

• Encourage team members' professional growth in areas of clinical and leadership skill.

• Stay updated on research-based practices and leverage this knowledge in improving care standards.

• Promote a therapeutic surrounding for patients, their families, and the nursing staff.

• Represent nursing staff in addressing the concerns of patients, families, and team members.

• Facilitate educational opportunities for patients and their families, nursing staff, and the community.

• Incorporate the organization's mission and goals into strategies for staff and patients.

• Passionately participate in governance and decision-making processes to enhance nursing procedures and workplace conditions.

Required Experience:

• Current RN licensure

• Progressive leadership experience

• Cath Lab, EP Lab, Interventional Cardiology, or Procedural Services experience

• Leadership and team development

• Physician relationship management

• Patient flow and operational excellence

• Quality, regulatory, and accreditation oversight (TJC, Magnet preferred)Key Success Factors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

• A minimum of (3) three years of experience in a similar nursing role is required for consideration.

• Required certifications: (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support, (RN) Registered Nurse license, (BLS) Basic Life Support. If not BLS certified, it must be completed within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.
